LG has provided umbrella sponsorship to Indian Amateur Golf Tour organized by Indian Golf Union for next 3 years and joined the golf bandwagon in a full fledged way in 2007 by adopting the Indian Golf Union’s Amateur Golf Tour. The tour which is now known as LG Indian Amateur Golf Tour is one of the most organized Amateur Tour in this part of the world. The LG Indian Amateur Golf Tour boasts of 13 events in a season spread across various cities in India with about 60 amateurs doing the entire circuit. Each event solicits around 80 players who vie for honors.
